The war we thought that wouldn't end could be ending!

How fitting it would if it ended just days before the 20th anniversary of 9'11!

To give you all some insight into just how long this has been going on, let me provide you with some retro facts about October 2001:

• Fox Kids was still on air when this started


• Disney had not yet bought Power Rangers and Saban


• Toy Story 2 was the latest film from Pixar


• Toonami was still airing new episodes of Dragon Ball Z


• Nickelodeon was still airing new episodes of Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys and Hey Arnold!


• The Energon Trilogy for the Transformers franchise hadn't even begun airing yet

Cartoon Network was still showing old cartoons.

It seems the Taliban is always gaining the upper hand.

What an absolute needless tragedy.  

Isn't it though?

But despite it all, Biden still stands by his decision to withdraw the troops.

This is a far worse tragedy than the fall of Saigon in 1975.

I'll deal with President Biden shortly, right now we have yet more evidence that US ground intelligence is worthless. Military command staff and leaders in Washington DC were receiving garbage information. Our UK and French allies were ignored when their informants were telling a different story from the misleading intelligence US officials were relying on.

The decision to leave Afghanistan was known as early as the first day of the Biden administration, yet no low-key, background efforts to remove US personnel and Afghan support staff was implemented. It was foolish to announce a US withdrawal with a 9/11 end date, in July. Even President Homer Simpson ain't that stupid!

Right now President Biden has demonstrated such poor judgement that I consider him unfit for a second term as our President. Instead of careful planning and wise council, Biden picked September 11th in a display of elementary school level symbolism. Only the escalation of events caused the end date to move to August31st.

What an absolute cluster----. Why on Earth did this administration choose to exit in this way?
