i feel so bad for those 80s kids right about now

Well today is the day that the sequel series, Masters of the Universe: Revolution hits Netflix. I'm not hopeful for it given how the first series was handled, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway.

It's my understanding that Smith had no experience or information or knowledge of He-Man and Masters and of the Universe. And I hear there's video proof of him stating that before he even got this job. So, why on Earth would they give him the job?

He somehow weasels his way into these gigs. Not sure why executives keep giving in.
