The news of Tawny Kitaen's passing was announced today. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I do have a personalized autograph of her from her 2018 appearance at The Hollywood Show. My condolences, Tony, since I know you communicated with her and got her to contribute videos and voicework to some of the Retro-Daze specials...

Tawny Kitaen will always be an, "80's Force of Nature", and a touchstone for a wonderful era of entertainment.

Whitesnakes, "Here I Go Again", remains an 80's Classic and the video made for the song is a case study in 80's Culture - like a video Time Machine. And Tawny's energy and spirit will always be with us.

Yeah this was definitely sad news. She was very kind to allow us to use her voice for the Special. I know she had her share of troubles, but we all do. There is a Tawny-shaped hole in the world that will never be filled now.
