His name is Jake Holmes. He sung many commercial jingles including Gillete, the best a man can get", "You can do it in the Army", Raise your hand if you're Sure, Help yourself to Stoffer's Pizza and many many more. He was one of the voices of the 80s
Looks like he was a pretty busy guy in the good old days.

No doubt. Not only did he do commercials, he had a professional music career of his own. I never formed the connection till I watched these commercials as an adult.
I want to find info on other people that did singing for commercials back then. There were others that preformed for multiple commercials. I'm particularly interested in the choirs that sung in some of these old ads. Seems like every product in the 70s to mid 80s has a jingle sang by a choir at some point and many of them sounded the same like they got together and sang several jingles for different products the same day. At the very least the same ad agency must have done them because the format and jingle were very similar.
B-man, few ads can match the one you first posted.
"Raise Your Hand if You're SURE" is one of the Best 80's TV ads!!!

I remember that Sure commercial from when I was in 1st grade, good jingle for sure. This wranger ad ran around at the same time and I never forgot it either.

I can't find anyone else who remembers what happened after Coca Cola's "Teach The World To Sing", ad campaign became historic.
The unpresendented popularity of "The Hillside Singers" and "The New Seekers" version of the Coke ad led Coca Cola to do something unusual.
Coke reached out to well known singers in different types of music to submit adaptations of their music to appear in a Coke ad - with the possibility of re-releasing in a non-Coke varient if the ad became popular.
With everyone fixed on "Teach The World To Sing", everything that came after it has been forgotten.
Here is Dottie West's most beloved song that started as an ad for Coca Cola:
And it continued from there with some of the most awesome musical ads to appear on television.
Here is Billy Joe Royal with the ad that used to serenade both "The Brady Bunch" and "The Partridge Family":
