Over the past six years, I have taken it upon myself to read each article thoroughly and correct grammar and syntax errors. Some of you need little to no help from me. However some of you (you know who you are) submit articles that, quite frankly, require me to almost rewrite them entirely.

I simply can’t continue to do this. My time is too limited at this point.

So, from here on, any articles submitted that need extensive fixing will simply not be published. Just make sure you’re using a program with some type of autocorrect function, and you’ll be most of the way to writing something that doesn’t look like a complete disaster

in a way i kind of regret being an article writing tutor for retrojunk, in the earlier years most users were open to critique but after its decline the new users popping in were getting aggressive about it, no matter how civil you would be with them. i'm glad to know you've done your own part in that light though.

I like to check my writing now by pasting it into Google Translate. It helps a lot.

Yeah, an autocorrect feature of some kind is really necessary. It won't fix all the problems (like run-on sentences or stuff that is just poorly constructed, but it does force you to at least capitalize things that should be capitalized, and stop spelling simple words incorrectly.

Yeah, I've noticed in rereading some of my articles that I may have made a couple of small mistakes here and there. It happens, we aren't professionals. However, if you can't put together a coherent article then you shouldn't be writing at all.

I guess my "toPe 10 retro recipees" isn't going to see the light of day.

But, but, but... run-on sentences are my bread and butter, toast and jam, (how could I possibly avoid the clutter) and for that matter if I don't get them out of my head space they will just clog things up like your uncle at a family reunion; I mean how will my sentences ever run-on again? I support extra long, extraneous, superfluous, overflowing, bountiful, descriptive, sentences that abound in word count by forcing quality and quantity down the throats of the reader. Once I had a dude accuse me of having too many pictures and not enough text. I added up my run-on sentences for that article and proved that I had nearly double the word count of his last article.

Also I support Vaporman in his endeavors and wholeheartedly agree with his stance on proper grammar and importance of personal time. I will attempt to amend my ways forthwith.

Sincerly,
NLogan

If playing the chalkboard game Hangman taught me anything as a child it was this, death by hanging is the appropriate punishment for misspelling words.

@NLogan: My head has exploded from your nonstop sentences, but you’re not one of the authors this is directed at. And no, I won’t name names. Though for the right amount of money... who knows.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.
