Well yeehaw! Looks like the Lonestar State of Texas is finally getting its own Disney Park!

Disney Universe is coming to the Dallas Texas area!

Along with the mainstays of what you would expect from Disney, Disney Universe has a Texas-certified Cowboy Corner with a full-scale replica of the Alamo, world class barbeque, an open carry zone for gunslingers, and rodeo shows. 

Who's ready for some rootin' tootin' fun? Advance tickets sales will be available in China.

Man, April 1 sure has brought out some doozies. Between this and Ben moving to Australia, the whole world would seem to be going crazy

With winter weather, we'll never see a Disneyland above the Mason Dixon line haha

@vkimo: Never say never! Disney was going to do that very thing in the ‘90s in Virginia, but the locals wouldn’t allow it (geniuses). Not to mention parks like King’s Island and Cedar Point make a killing despite the Winter. Heck, they even embrace it with Winterfest.

i think it's a good idea of them to choose not to have a park in virginia, some of the areas there are a real sh**hole now. moving from the chesapeake area in 2014 nothing has really changed there since my childhood, a couple of stores and restaurants got robbed long enough that they had to go out of business, it's that bad.

This was really believable, especially the part about advance tickets being sold in China. 

I hope GA gets a Disney park someday. We already have a Six Flags, but it would be nice to have a Disney park too!
