Based on this trailer, I get the feeling that the plot will revolve around Mysterio pulling a Syndrome (from The Incredibles) style fast one on the public, giving them the perception he is a hero, when in fact he is using his effects mastery to create baddies and then defeat them. Time will tell.

It looks okay. It's nice that we are getting Mysterio, but given the ending of the previous film I was kind of looking forward to seeing Scorpion.

I swear when the first Spiderman came out I saw a trailer and it had Mysterio robbing a bank. He had all the guards imagining they were drowning in a floor or something. This was live action and I never found it again.
