First there was Unbreakable, then Split, and now there is Glass:

So... thoughts?

Loved Unbreakable. Had no idea there was a sequel! Looks like I have some catching up to do.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Split simply takes place in the same "universe" as Unbreakable (although you see Bruce Willis' character briefly in it). This new film will bring the two together.

Unbreakable to me was the beginning point of when Shyamalan went down hill.

I definitely don't think Unbreakable was the beginning of his downward spiral. It was in the beginning of his successes.

Sixth Sense in 1999 Awesome
Unbreakable in 2000 pretty dang good
Signs in 2002 interesting
The Village in 2004 watchable
Lady in the Water in 2006 pretty bad
The Happening in 2008 from bad to worse
The Last Airbender in 2010 abysmal
After Earth in 2013 last nail in the coffin for the death of his career
The Visit in 2015 haven't seen it.
Split in 2016 great back from the dead.

I think I can get behind this assessment of his films. They pretty much fall in line with my own feelings. With Lady in the Water I just kind of scratched my head, thinking, "What the heck was this?"

I haven't seen The Happening, but everything I hear about it is dreadful. I actually didn't mind The Last Airbender. I haven't seen After Earth or The Visit. And yes, Split was pretty good.

Oh wait, Split is that movie where James McAvoy has multiple personalities, isn't it?

I wanted to see that but never got around to it. Definitely gonna watch it now!
