I have to agree with the headline of the article: who indeed was this for? Who was clamoring for A Rocky and Bullwinkle reboot?

yeah, not a fan of the use of modern phrases you see on the internet. i could see this appealing to kids younger than like 8 though.

It's really the way the characters are drawn that irks me.

I haven't watched it, but I don't think it looks all that bad. I'd much rather they go with this approach instead of trying to modernize it and make it as "hip" as possible, because that never ages well. Shame about no side characters/stories, though.

Me too. Hope he's okay.

It's a popular animation style. I do like it better than the CGI ultra textured stuff that you see in, say, Super Mario Odyssey. Monsters Inc is one thing, but cartoon characters in general, do not need individual strands of hair, IMO. So at least this isn't that. I don't particularly care for it, same with the Adventure Time artist taking over Powerpuff Girls, but there's maybe something to be said for this.
