I design and produce VHS and DVD covers for my favourite sci-fi series Doctor Who for my own site and make them available for folk to download if they like them, for free. There's no registration, no cost, nothing. I also host a site for other people to post their own Doctor Who DVD and VHS covers on as well, again for free. I have to pay website costs every month the same as everybody else, and there's hardly any point in doing it if someone else is just going to pinch and repost the content elsewhere. If people want to link to the covers on my sites, that's fine, but don't just pinch it. VHS Wasteland - I am looking at YOU!!! Thanks! Quote

I wouldn't be happy if people were using our articles on their site and presenting it as original. By mickyarber At 14:57 On 24 December 2017 364 Posts The Retro Rambler	Well, as a lot of you know, I host my own retro themed site at RetroRamblings.com, and I sometimes post my own content from there to here at Retro-Daze. I do this because not everyone visits RetroRamblings, and those who do sometimes prefer to view the content in the format here as opposed to my site. I hope this is not a problem, as it's my own content, free to do with as I please, and I personally don't care about the traffic implications to my own site. OP's complaint is of someone uploading their work without permission. Vaporman, you can't screen everything, but perhaps you can take something down if the creator contacts you about it (with links to their site or other reasonable proof)? cloisterbell, sorry your fan art is here without credit. If this can be resolved amicably, I would encourage you to hang around and submit articles and/or post in the forums. Lots of people do so and at the same time promote their art/ website/ blog/ youtube/ etc. Quote Disable Sigs

Like shakin said, cloisterbell was referring to somebody uploading VHS covers that weren't even real covers. We don't want personally created covers anyway.
