Titanic holds some fond memories for me due to the fact that it was probably the most hyped movie of my childhood besides Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I can very clearly remember a ton of kids from my school talking about going to see it and all of the pop culture references to the movie after it came out. Due to the nostalgia factor, this is one rerelease I'd actually consider going to see at the theater, but it's sadly not playing at a theater near me.

The movie no one would shut up about in 1997.

You know, when you look at this movie, it still looks like it's new. At least from my perspective.

I can kind of see that. The special effects were pretty good, and the fact that it was set in 1912 meant that there wasn't going to be much in the way of tying it to its release date.

It just looks to me like it's a brand new movie, which was just released not long ago.
