With Halloween mere hours away, I realized that I haven't visited here in a dog's age, and haven't posted for even longer. How's everybody holding up? Anything exciting happen while I was gone, like another server crash?
I also believe that I have some articles long overdue, like that Miracleman one. My apologies to all 3 of you who were interested in that. I'll finish parts 2 and 3 eventually.
Truth is, I had some personal problems that were affecting my life, and while I'm not even close to resolving them, I've gotten a lot better at handling them in some ways. But this came at a price of cutting myself off from distractions and entertainment, and thus my absence.

I'm a different person than I was a few months ago. I hope to be a different person months from when I'm writing this post. Not all change is good, but changing yourself to be a better person is wonderful. This is probably common sense to almost everyone, but I'm shocked at how long it took me to realize that. Sometimes we fail, but that's okay. Again, painfully obvious to lots of folks. Me? I've got some catching up to do.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Hey, whatever you're handling in life, making yourself a better person can only help. So keep your chin up, your head held high, and walk tall. Also, many other cheesy aphorisms.

Great to hear from you again jkatz.

In Real life, as in online life, we do the best we can as circumstances arise.
I still love reading the interactions of the guys around here.

That's right - this old man is making a list  . . . and checking it twice.
