The Chicago Cubs pulled off a miracle last year. Can Houston do the same?

I'm conflicted: I don't want Houston to win because I'm a Yankees fan, but I don't want want Los Angeles to win because I have a friend whose a Dodgers fan and I want to rub it in his face that his team lost.

So when did Houston move to the American League? That's dumb

They couldn't cut it in the National League.

Our old buddy bassman21 from Retrojunk has to be happy Houston won the Series.

Rangers fans everywhere must be pissed. Year after year you have quality teams that should win the World Series, and your sister team that jumps from League to League beats you to bringing home a World Series victory to the state of Texas.

It's so unfair. The Rangers can never get that big break!

About 5 years ago the American League West division only had 4 teams; Angels, Rangers, A's, and Mariners. It why when they had inter-league games there would always be a lone game of 2 National League teams before the Astros moved leagues.


I really wanted the Dodgers to win it. Nothing brings a city together like bandwagon fans. I love the sight of bootleg merchandise being sold on street corners in the suburbs. The last time a World series was won in the LA/OC area was the 2002 Angels.

The Dodgers were the heavy favorites in the series. I was so sure they were going to win.
