Apparently he was battling leukemia and has apparently passed away. What a real shame, he may not have reached the heights his brother did but he was pretty talented in his own right. His work on Chappelle's show, especially the Rick James episode, produced some of the funniest comedic skits of all time.

David Letterman's mother also died just recently.
