You're asking about the story animation, where the story takes place. The book goes back to 1973 and the book's author, Thomas Rockwell, grew up in Vermont. The animated "Storybreak" version was first aired in 1985, rerun in 1987, and I always thought the action took place in small town upstate New York.  |
