Happy EARTH DAY 2017 Just like over at RetroJunk, I'm the guy that was in middle school for the First Earth Day - 1970. In 1970 I was at Northside Junior High in Norfolk, Virginia and the school staff thought it was a great idea for everyone to have lunch outside. Well once everyone was outside classes were suspended and we never went back inside that day. April 22, 1970 was a long time ago and I can only say that as Earth Days pass by my greatest hope is: "Things Can Only Get Better" |

I hear ya. My allergies have been kicking in something fierce. And every morning I get in the truck I can see the layer of pollen blanketing the hood. It's so annoying. There needs to be more bees to eat all that stuff up.

It's one thing when allergens are invisible, but when the stuff collects on everything outside it makes me feel like I'm starring in a horror movie - "Attack of the Green Spores". |

sneezing from all of the pollen and dust is one thing i never look forward to when cutting yards as soon as the hot temperatures settle in. because of it my nostrils have been damaged and i can only get air to come out of one of them now. over the counter nasal sprays unfortunately don't work, and nasal gels like nasonex are also out of the question so now i have problems sleeping at night because of it.

Now the springtime allergies have gotten me.
