Depends on what you mean by something else. Like, does this include TV shows, movies, books, and others that were made into video games?
In any case, I had the video game based off MTV's Remote Control. Can't say I've ever really watched the show, nor did I enjoy the game. |

How about a video game based off of board games?

One of my all time favorite video games was a video game that was based off a television show and was a parody of another popular video game franchise: The Simpsons Hit and Run.
I got it for my 9th birthday and spent the next several years playing it. *Insert funny signature here*

video games based on toylines usually aren't all that successful, but if you asked konami to make a 2D game for you, they'd more than likely turn it into a fun experience. this was a fun sidescroller beat 'em up and it was even more fun with co-op.

I enjoy playing video games based off of television game shows because it's probably about as close as I'll ever be to being on a real game show. Here's one I only recently acquired.

@Rick:
Yeah, I had my share of good times with Hit and Run. "Magic can happen to you."

How about a video game based off a monster truck?
I wonder who's idea it was to make Bigfoot into a video game. But then again, there was also a cartoon based off Bigfoot as well. |
