Benjanime
having a day off of work i took a stroll to my local goodwill to see if there was anything to whet my gaming appetite as i came across this treasure trove.

the gameboy works fine and dandy and was priced for a measly few dollars, as were the games except for the legend of zelda: link's awakening, which ended up costing the most out of this collection. since i was desperate for keeping my batteries, i looked upon a gamestore in asking for a charger plug for the system

That is a good find. I never see anything like that at my stores or if there is, it's broken.

I am confused what you are saying about the charger? Did you get one of those old battery packs?

Did these come with boxes/manuals or just the carts?

just the carts unfortunately... there's actually a gameboy carrying case at a gamestore downtown for $3 so i might just pick it up to save my games from becoming lost around my apartment

the charger i asked for because i'd rather conserve any batteries that i have, so i'd assumed that the gamestore in my area had one. unfortunately the charger plug is standalone

I find rechargeable AAs come in very handy for this kind of thing.
