Please, this cannot be happening. I stayed away from the News all day. My spirit needs a break.
First thing I see on the Forum - Carries' mom, Debbie Reynolds, rushed to the hospital due to possible stroke. Debbie was at her son's house to discuss funeral arrangements for Carrie. I feel like I want to sleep, and wake up from this horrible dream. |

Just like Carrie, Debbie has a history in movies. She was in How the West Was Won and she did a voice in the original Charlotte's Web.

I wish I could be with you guys in person right now. It would ease the hurt in my heart.

My brother was looking at stuff on his phone and asked me who debbie reynolds was and i said "why?" and he said "because she died" and i said "no" because i thought it had to be some fake troll thing since her daughter just died. It just seemed too fake to be true. It's just so weird.
I knew her more from the Halloweentown movies on the disney channel. R.I.P. |
I'm sure the stress and heartbreak of Carrie's death had something to do with this. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time. It must be terrible to lose both of them so close together.

I'm with Jrs. It just didn't seem like it could be a real thing. It's just so crazy. Both actresses have left a huge hole in Hollywood.

I can't help but remember a quote from MST3K, the episode "Space Mutiny", where 3 of the main characters are together in a scene and Crow declares they are "Sting, Debbie Reynolds, and God". Funny what things trigger memories of people. This quote will always remind me of her and her loss.
The scene is at 0:23 You love this signature.
