Unbelieveable!
I was staying with some friends for Christmas, to lift my spirits - and then the News Hit. To everyone on Retro-Daze, I am so sorry about this. Losing George Michael feels like losing a friend.  |

Why does this seem so suitable for such a terrible year of celebrity losses. To lose such a big star on Christmas Day just makes sense in this awful year.
One thing that is so weird is that Andrew Wilkow had been doing this thing on his radio program where he was constantly introing to Last Christmas, positing that doing so would coax George Michael onto his radio program for Christmas. Now I really have to hear what he says about this today. You love this signature.
