I still remember that CHiPs movie nightmare.
I wonder what TV-inspired abomination we'll hear of next. "Magic can happen to you."

Deviating so far from the source material is a sure bet that nobody who was a fan of said material will come watch your movie. This news has apparently not yet made it to Hollywood.

Even so, if they were hoping to capture actual fans of the show, then deviating SO FAR from it was not the way to go. Just ask the team behind Jem & The Holograms, CHiPs, or 21 Jump Street. Now in the case of, say... My Little Pony... they would have to deviate a lot from the show to get somebody like me. But I'm guessing for a fan like yourself, you wouldn't be too pleased with changing it into something different. MLP the political thriller You love this signature.

Saw it yesterday, it was pretty good. It felt like an episode if it didn't take itself so seriously. A lot of the staples of the show (The slow motion especially) were subject to jokes. It has a good bit of dirty jokes, some worked, some didn't. The Rock is easily the best part of the film. Zach Effron was the surprising bit of the film. He's a decent comedy actor. I say see it when it's cheap, it was worth the matinee price. It's stupid fun.
