This just sucks so bad. Really crappy day for music, and a crappy year as well. Prince, Bowie, Haggard... just awful.
I wasn't a huge fan of Prince, but his influence on my youth was still pretty significant. I remember in high school a friend and I were asked to paint over the wall mural in art class, something new. We painted over an image of Prince from the Purple Rain film, with Star Wars images. You love this signature.

I saw a good documentary called "The Prince Story: Icon, Genius...Slave". Mark Anthony played the successful, but troubled rock star so convincingly. "Magic can happen to you."
