Not sure if any of you have stumbled upon this, but the artwork and animation looks phenomenal. I also like the old timey film filter that's used for this short.

That's funny. I wonder who put this together... and why?

the entire animation released today as a first episode, and it's pretty awesome (watch for swears).

to update, the series name had to be changed because surprise surprise, the creator got slammed with a copyright claim notification straight from nintendo involving its original title "star fox: the animated series" because it used the franchise name, so now it's been given the permanent namechange of "a fox in space".

Ben, This Is Outstanding.

My compliments to Matthew Gafford and his team. Voice work and dialog transitions are first rate.

There's nothing first time about the skill with which this was put together.

Thank you Ben for bringing this on R-D.

hey no problem edd since he's got a patreon he's asked around for some guest voicework, just another hint that this may become an even bigger project. i even agree with some of the comments that the material looks like it belongs on adult swim.

Well ya sure got my attention.

When it comes to animation, it all starts with the drawing of a character. Every guy who has ever drawn a character can make that character come alive in his imagination. You can see it move and speak.in your mind.

Only when you try to bring that character to life in an animated project do you realize that the characters "voice" has to match its appearance in order to project personality. The variables in an animated series are endless and fascinating.

Right off the bat I noticed that the voices in "A Fox in Space" set the tone as well as deliver dialog.

if he takes his pick of whoever is going to lend their voices for the animations i'm pretty sure he'll be asking for different takes as he already puts effort into his own voice acting. this side by side recording shows how superb his work can come along outside of the art and such.
