Did anyone of yall ever participate in the whole Columbia House program? My grandmother signed me up for the VHS program back in the 90s. I managed to snag The Godfather Trilogy that way. I remember she canceled it after they sent a copy of The Saint unsolicited and billed $30 for it.

Somebody bought Columbia House out of bankruptcy and are planning on bringing back the mail order business with vinyl. Did anyone of yall ever participate in the whole Columbia House program? It was a bit of a scam really. In the end, you didn't save much. Still, with a focus on vinyl, this could be of interest.

It did start becoming a joke. The better deals started coming through with Amazon. It would be cool to see Columbia come back with vinyl.

My dad belonged to that and other one too. I didn't like that they would never get new releases before the store did. It was just easier to go to the store to get the new releases. When I was a kid he did used to order vinyl from them. I remember how upset he was in the early 90s I think? When they stopped offering vinyl and only offered cassettes and CDs.
