Already got a rough draft done for a run through of my favorite holiday ads. Though with fiction being a thing I might submit the holiday fanfic I'm working on here first

I've got a monster sized article I've been working on for Christmas, so I guess it's time to kick it into overdrive and hammer it out for this contest. But win or lose, it doesn't matter. I wanted to share my experiences and feelings with everyone here about my favorite time of year. Looking forward to reading all the other great Christmas articles to come from everyone.

What is considered appropriate for fiction here?

What is considered appropriate for fiction here? -end quote The major stipulations are that there be "retro" elements (ie: takes place in a decade we might consider "retro" here - 70's, 80's, 90's) and that it not be a fan fiction (ie: it can't use existing characters, worlds, or stories from privately owned properties. So in other words, it can't be a story about how He-Man finally lost to Skeletor, or anything along those lines). For a better idea of what would be acceptable, read vkimo's winning Halloween article from this year.

Hmm, I've done memories, I've done fiction. Time for non fiction. A tabulated record chronicling my holiday gift returns.
