When I look at James Cameron movies like T2: Judgment Day, True Lies, and Titanic, I can't help but notice how new they look, despite how old they are.







What are films that have aged well?

Well, naturally period films are going to hold up better, as their environments and costumes make sense. But T2 or True Lies show their age with such things. Even so, they hold up because they are just great films.

Any movie that avoided CGI till the mid 2000s will look good it seems.

I think some hold up will even with early CGI scenes. The Abyss, for example.

Neverending Story has held up very well over the years.

Maybe it's just a remastered look, but Friday the 13th, Pt. 2 seems to have aged well also.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as aged very well.

Kill Bill

Kill Bill Vol.1 has aged well for a 2000s movie.
