I can't wait. I'm a huge fan.... for me, mainly reboot-fan, but I do enjoy the Original Series.

Bryan Fuller (Wonderfalls, Hannibal, Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies) has been announced as a the showrunner. He began his career writing for Voyager and Deep Space Nine. This took my interest in the show from almost none to being mega excited.
The only thing I'm not excited about is CBS All Access. I'm currently trying out the service so I can catch up on Supergirl, but man does it suck. Tons of commercials, badly designed user interface, and I've had it crash a couple times. When I went back to fast forward to where the show left off, it made me sit through a buttload of commercials. They also dont have an Xbox One App yet, which is annoying. I have Chromecast and its available on my 360, but I really would prefer to just run it from the Xbox One. |

Nice. I'm a Star Trek fan so I'll be checking this out. Only issue I found is that CBS is trying to milk it for all it's worth and make it available only on THEIR little Netflix-like streaming service or whatever it is.

They couldn't have picked a better showrunner! Bryan Fuller did amazing work on Hannibal!
I'm excited for a new Star Trek Show. To me, it largely depends on the crew. Past incarnations have been too dry for my tastes. I hope this new series will make it more accessible to the average viewer while still going heavy on the sci-fi! |
