As you're aware, a new series was released on Nickelodeon a few weeks ago.



Is it as good as the old series that you remember?

Hmmm. I hope to see this series on Hulu or Netflix, so I can judge along with my kids.

Wow. I somehow missed that announcement. I'm with Vapor, gotta wait for it to hit Netflix to judge for myself. After the Inspector Gadget reboot, I'm definitely concerned.

Yeah, I was a bit perplexed by that also. Something just doesn't look right. I think they should have stuck with the more traditional look of the characters. But... we'll see.

I don't see what the problem is with their appearance. Is it an uncanny valley kind of thing? Looks no more saccharine than the general kids' cartoon landscape these days. Plus, did you know Ross Bagdasarian can Ross Bagdasarian get Ross Bagdasarian stuck Ross Bagdasarian in Ross Bagdasarian your Ross Bagdasarian head?

What I find interesting is that they didn't even make a brand new theme song. They used the same theme song from the 80s series, though it was shorter.

Of course, even if they did use a new theme song, it likely wouldn't have been as good.

i like it i don't like the chldlike look but the humor is still same.
