Hey, all!

I've been lurking here for quite a while, but only recently decided to join in and submit an article.

In recent years I've become aware of how nearly everything I love can be tied back to my childhood in the 80's and 90's, which is what inevitably leads me to forums like this one.

I'm a horror writer, sculptor, Youtuber, video game collector, and teacher, among other things.  I've already submitted a few of my previously published retro articles, but plan to write some new ones for the site and really get involved.  You can find me in the following places:

Horror store:  www.candycornapocalypse.storenvy.com
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AnthonyJRapino
Website: www.AnthonyJRapino.com

Cheers!

-Tony

Hey Tony,
Welcome to Retro-Daze. I'm also a big 80's horror fan. It looks like you've got a ton of content on your page. I look forward to digging through all of it.

Thanks for the welcome!  Yeah, you know, I actually just found Faces of Death 1 and 3 on VHS at a yard sale this weekend.  Plus an NES with 21 games.  Pretty sweet scores.  I do yard sale video for my youtube channel:  https://www.youtube.com/user/onipar  Forgot to post that.

Sounds like you and vkimo should get along pretty well. Hes is also a fellow thrift store and yard sale treasure hunter. His article on Retro Thrifting was great fun.

Ah, sweet.  I'll go have a read now, thanks for the link!  Is there a way to post youtube videos here?  If not, maybe I'll start turning them into articles as well.  Cheers!

Yes. simply copy the EMBED code from the YouTube video, then click on the "Show Source" ( ) button above the box where you enter forum text. Paste the EMBED code where you want it into the text box, and then click on the "Show Source" button again.
