Not so much  toys, but the list of games I wanted and never got runs a mile long. With some of them, like Halo and GTA, there obviously was no chance in hell I was going to ever be allowed to play them (but you can't blame a guy for trying!). But even titles like Pikmin and SSB and Animal Crossing were verboten.
My parents were actually strongly anti--video game now that I think about it.

Even Animal Crossing was off limits? That game is about as kid friendly as a video game can be.

I also wanted Gak. My mom would've freaked if she saw me playing with Gak.

Yeah. Silly Puddy was bad enough for my parents. I was allowed to have slime for the MOTU Slime Pit though.

Wow. I just submitted an article detailing several toys I wanted as a kid but never had...and then I come across this forum post.  Cool.

For me, there were a lot of things I wanted but didn't have...the USS Flagg aircraft carrier for one, and several others that I talk about in my article that should drop in the next couple of days.

Great to have you back in action micky!

"Foods Long Gone" was a fun read, and did well. 8,500+ reads and a 10 RetroRating.

Good to be back.

I've got some more articles ideas cooking now for Retro-Daze.  I need to plug my new retro blog, lol.

Sweet! I love it so far. I'll add it to our "Links" page.

Also, I was reading the post on Micro Machines and wanted to let you know that John Moschitta Jr. is supposed to be at RetroCon this year.

I wanted to try this as a kid. It must be a story-telling robot.
