Here is a cartoon show I used to watch in the 1990's on NBC Saturday Mornings. It was about this yellow, spotted long-tail creature named Marsupilami. His sidekick is a gorilla named Maurice. And I sure do love those guys and I sure do miss them in the days.

NBC? Didn't this air on CBS? As a matter of fact, it couldn't have been on NBC since they killed off their Saturday Morning block a few years prior to this show airing.

I've never seen it. I read a Marsupilami comic in a Disney Adventures magazine, but that was it.

I had heard of it, but never actually watched an episode. I ended up watching what my little brother was interested in at that time, which was most generally DuckTales, TailSpin, Rescue Rangers, and Animaniacs.

I had Marsupilami valentines and a pencil. (I gotta find that pencil) I only liked the Raw Toonage Bonkers shorts. Him as a cop was annoying. I remember my neighbor hated Marsupilami because of his catch phrase "Hoouba!"

Here's the pencil. It's a little worn. When you write Marsupilami moves along with the pencil. This thing is circa 1993.

And I remember this used to be on NBC Saturday Mornings until 1995 when NBC dropped Saturday Morning cartoons.

NBC still showed Saturday morning cartoons after 1995. Educational ones lol.

NBC stopped showing Saturday morning cartoons in 1992 (rightfully so, their 1991 lineup was a complete disaster). Their Saturday morning cartoon lineup was replaced by TNBC, which was targeted for teens, and consisted of sitcoms such as Saved By The Bell. Marsupilami was on CBS, not NBC. I don't know why you keep saying this is an NBC show.

Just because that's an NBC reference, it doesn't mean Marsupilami is an NBC show.

Heck, I've seen NBC's "The More You Know" PSA spoofed on Family Guy. And that's a Fox show!
