I just now noticed this section and I couldn't resist. People will know me from the wasteland that is now Retrojunk. Some will know me from my Facebook. Others will just wonder what the big deal is. Anyway, I'm still alive. (Much to the chagrin to some.) I'm still collecting comics and have been collecting the newer Transformers that have been coming out. Currently unemployed, but working as a photographer for hire. I still enjoy the nostalgia of the past, mainly the 1980s. Its when I grew up and have quite a few fond memories of that age.

Nice to have another 80's kid around. We're outnumbered by 90's kids, but only slightly (I think).

Speaking of comics, have you read any of the new Secret Wars issues? I'm wondering if they're any good.

When I quit working at the comic shop, I dropped all Marvel and DC comics. Both have been trying way too hard to satisfy everyone, rather than keep on telling quality stories. I'm only reading independent comics. Mostly Image and IDW.
