"Magic can happen to you."

It's 1983 at Lake Tahoe. Parked up on the shore in my 77 Chevy Cheyenne, tailgate down, laying in the bed with Jenny Sanders under my arm. 4th of July fireworks bursting over the water and I just lost my virginity. Got work in the morning at the drive in just outside of town but don't care...man I wish I didn't make that all up.

Alice Cooper - School's Out for Summer
Also the whole Tragic Kingdom album by No Doubt. I played that album so much in the summer of '96 I think I made everyone around me sick. |

Batty About Toys wrote :When my teacher and I and another student were j-walking he was singing "Breaking the Law", and I asked if he was going to sing "School's Out" on the last day of the semester because it was coming up. He like to sing a lot in class. Have you heard the Donnas' version or the Mr. Bumpy version from the Bump in the Night cartoon? I played that album non-stop for about 3 years. Good thing I had headphones. |
