In movie news, almost all you'll hear about are remakes, remakes, REMAKES!! Some of which are not very good. But there are some that are not that bad. One that I like is... What remakes do you like? Quote Disable Sigs "Magic can happen to you."

Well, I think the conventional wisdom says the very best REMAKE that ever happened was John Carpenter's Excellent Remake Of The Thing.

Yeah, I would definitely put The Thing in that list. Also, like Jrs mentioned, The Fly and War of the Worlds. Both really good films.
