Vapor never gives it away in the first clue, I think that clue indicates its after 1979. Since I already won the prize up for grabs here, I'll just observe this round.

No, I'm pretty sure it is Honey Nut Cherrios. Especially since the clue hints at Buzz... the bee mascot. Also, the last part of the clue where it says it "drives the other folks nutty" seems to refer to the "Nut" in Honey Nut Cherrios.

Hmm... could this refer to DVDs? I know that was invented in 1995. Of course, if you want to get technical, then VCDs came before that, which was invented in 1993, but never officially became mainstream. Most likely, this refers to DVDs.

Going by that clue, this would mean that the years would go from any year between 1979-1995.

Well played. Solid line of thinking. I was stuck on acctual digital copies. But those seemed so new. In my defense, I'm going on 3 hours sleep for the past 48 hours. So my brain, she's not firing on all cylinders. I feel like you nailed it.
