What trading card games are/were you into?

I was more of a collector and rarely played the game the cards were meant for. I was obviously into Pokemon immensely and Yu-Gi-Oh later to a much lesser extent. Before we got married (and even met in person) I sent the Mrs. my Charizard, Blastoise and Venasaur  as a sign of my undying love haha

I think I tried getting into Magic at one point but it was just too foreign to me.

i got into the pok'emon trading card game for only a year, and that's when pok'emon was still a fad. once the schools banned the cards the fun was pretty much sucked out of me.

yu-gi-oh was a comeback for school cafeterias, but not officially. likely the only thing you saw happening at that time were kids trading their cards in a shady fashion. any other trading card game didn't really take interest for me, and i gave up yu-gi-oh just as quickly.

At the high school I teach at, Yu-Gi-Oh is HUGE

It's odd but even the Pokemon games on the GBC are really popular now. It's like todays kids miss old tech gaming.

I missed out on the rise of this type of game, as I was graduated and moving on to college when they really started to take off. I did play Dungeons & Dragons a few times though. But I was not that big into it.

Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh! I used to play with my little cousins. Sometimes I would get random packs of TCG cards as gifts or I would just buy them when they were on sale for like a dollar. I liked the series they were from like Xiaolin Showdown or Winx Club.
