Most horror film fans will say that this should've been the sequel to Nightmare on Elm Street 1. Can't argue with them. The 2nd one did poorly and Dream Warriors feels like more of a direct follow-up than the 2nd one was.
Very creative horror movie deaths in this one.

Yeah. Part 2 was just dreadful. I know just about every Nightmare fan wishes it didn't exist. I really liked the idea of the protagonists having "powers" in their dreams to fight Freddy. I would have liked to have seen Freddy get his butt kicked more though. He beat his victims too easily.
Had to wait until Freddy vs. Jason to see that happen. You love this signature.

The hero in the 1st movie is back in this, which makes it all the more enjoyable.

Yeah I too thought the premise of kids possessing powers was great, but they seemed like every other victim in the end.

The powers were nice, but not even they could stop Freddy.

Here's some camcorder footage of the making of Dream Warriors. I think you'll be impressed.
