If you've seen the news lately, you know about the Sony Pictures hack by North Korean hackers. This morning I read that North Korea's internet service COUNTRYWIDE was down for nearly 10 hours.
Gee, I wonder how that happened?
You.

And this all started when they decided to make that Interview movie. Someone wasn't thinking.

I hope we don't go to war over this.
This seems like one of the those circumstances were the general population on either side doesn't give a hoot but the media and people in power will instigate until bombs are dropped. |

Despite the threats, hacks and all, The Interview is still going to be played.
"Magic can happen to you."

I think the whole thing was orchestrated by Sony. I know that sounds far-fetched. But it's quite convenient for them how this goofball movie that had zero attention two weeks ago is now all over the news and a symbol of patriotic duty.

North Korea is a dinosaur. I showed a video clip to my students of a North Korean military parade and had to emphasize that this was from present day, not the 1940's or 30's.
I can't wait for the day that we have a united Korea. |

The Interview is available on Youtube for 6 dollars. Sony might end up making more on this! If North Korea would have kept mum, this movie would have come and gone and not gained the notoriety it now has.
