Well I'm all caught up in the annual New Year's promise. A New Year is like a used car on a dealer's lot. It's clean and shiny, promising low cost transportation. But underneath are all the same old mechanicals as Last Year, just wainting to break down as soon as you drive it off the dealer's lot. That's why I can't stop hearing "Taken In" from 1985. Here we go with 2025 - do you believe it? |

The theme to Death Wish II. Listen to Jimmy Page play it. He's amazing! "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Mr Magic wrote : Wow MM - what a movie, what a cast! This is from a time when movies would grab you right from the opening credits. Excellent!
There's a long story behind me and this song. |

I love it, edd! It's pleasant, the vocals are great, and it's got a terrific rock sound!
And now, for something diffrent. A song from a movie I saw on Turner Classic Movies today.
"If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Yeeeess - "Seven Sweethearts" from MGM - and the bridge in "Little Tingle Tangle Toes" is extremely difficult to sing requiring real talent.
Lately I'm stunned to discover that so many of the songs I grew up with are Canadian. |

I'm no smoker, but this ad is very creative. And it's got a catchy jingle that will get stuck in your mind as well. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Edd, did you know The Band was Canadian? "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."
