Maybe that's why I've had so much trouble with Top Cat all these years! You see, most animated characters are "as is", but with Top Cat there has to be a backstory. The way he talks, the way he acts and the drive to up his station in life - there's a lot of untold baggage in Top Cat's past. I never did that with other cartoon characters, not even Fred Flintstone. |
