So I saw it today. It's... only okay. I mean okay at it's best sadly. I don't know how to describe it, but it just felt like a letdown in every regard. The kills were lame, the story was kind of stupid and the ending was lackluster. The only thing I liked was how they used the original music and sound effects. I think the Rob Zombie remake was far better. Compared to all the other Halloween films, this is probably the only one I would never watch in a Halloween marathon.

On a side note, major drama occurred before the movie started in the theater I was in. Apparently the group of teenagers sitting next to me were under age and had apparently snuck in. The manager had come in and was yelling at them over it. At one point the kid next to me tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I could vouch for him saying that they were there with me.

The manager didn't buy their story, and she told them they had to leave. While it took a little back and forth, eventually the kids started getting up and leaving. However, one kid refused to leave and started arguing with the manager. She eventually told him that if he didn't leave he was going to get removed by security. Ultimately, his friends convinced him to get up and leave.

I have to say, I have never felt older than when that teenager asked me to help him and his friends sneak into a R Rated movie.

Movie sounds really good. I want to see it but I feel like I need to preface it with a marathon of rewatching of the original + at least one OG sequel, then the Rob Zombie movies, which I haven't seen.
