When I was in grade school during the 1960's no other cartoon sparked as many comments as Tex Avery's,
"Three Little Pups", from 1953. What starts as a conventional cartoon in the opening scene quickly turns into one of the funniest cartoons I've ever seen, as soon as the dog catcher shifts the truck into "sneak"! Three Little Pups by MistyIsland1 |

Edd I remember Droopy the dog but I have never seen this one. The voice actors of course are instantly recognizable.

This was the TV show that was always on when Arnold the Pig paid a visit to Oliver and Lisa Douglas.  |

Speaking of Tex Avery, how about "Red Hot Riding Hood"? Tex knew how to take cartoon humor to a whole 'nother level.  "Magic can happen to you."

No storybook character has had more makeovers than Little Red Riding Hood. Yet each take on her is unique and funny.
