I thought the remake was good in its own right.

Clarence Boddicker was a convincing villain. "Cops don't like me. So I don't like cops." "Magic can happen to you."

I'm still amazed at the level of violence in the original Robocop, but it's violence that fits with the plot so my reaction is "keep watching to see what happens next".
There's a lot of Gotham City in this movie and many people see Batman in Robocop. In a way Robocop may have caused a spillover effect that sparked Batman's revival as that awesome animated series. If any of this is true it's a connection that takes time to search out. All I know is that Robocop follows the rule: an over-the-top hero needs over-the-top villains. And you guys nailed it! Amazing mix of bad guys in Robocop, but alas - "crime doesn't pay", lol! |

Alex Murphy's death is not an easy movie death to witness. He suffers while the guys who're killing him are laughing.

My friends call me Murphy.
Love this movie, it epitomized everything right with late 80s/early 90s super violent action flicks. As a kid we drove a 1990 Ford Taurus, just like Robocop haha |
echidna64 wrote : Hahahahaha The remake was terrible in my opinion. I liked that he could run fast and jump high but then to PG 13 him to a tazer? WTH?! Total waste of Michael Keaton and Samuel Jackson too. Also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pOoSe2K5DU |
