A rather unexpected event happened with me at the start of the weekend. I was helping a neighbor carry a wooden palette and I sprained my knee as I feel on the ground from some unevent ground caused by a mole in the yard. Never thought I'd see myself with a knee brace and crutches. Been staying at home for the past few days applying ice packs to the joint.

I got my dad SiriusXM as a Father's Day present. He looked so down about his free trial ending.So, I told him "Maybe someone will get it for you for you. Hmm?"

I have to pay for it every month, but it's worth it to see him happy.

There's not as much pain as there was before, but putting pressure on the leg when standing still has some faint soreness to it. I'm thinking of setting up a follow up soon to see if I should continue applying ice packs while having my legs elevated.

Hope getting SiriusXM is changing the tune with your dad (no pun intended)

Wow Ben, glad to hear you're feeling better. Even after you stop with the ice, elevation will still be a benefit to full recovery. Six months ago I threw my back out helping a neighbor move. As the old saying goes, "no good deed goes unpunished".

Always good to know that actors playing in a sitcom never got fired for this sort of thing, and despite slipping up still having a good payoff for swerving past messing up on a line. I always wondered how they didn't get nervous thinking they would make a mistake on set, especially in front of a crowd of people. I think I'd still have stage fright to this day.
