40589 | NickSplat | Last I heard about the Rocko's Modern Life TV Movie, the production had wrapped up back in February. My guess is that they're going to wait until Thanksgiving to air the TV movie. We might see more info revealed during the fall before the TV movie premieres.

I remember with Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie, we got the Comic Con trailer last year, and then we didn't get more info until around October of that year. That might be the same we'll see with Rocko's Modern Life. But either way, I don't see any reason why they would delay it until 2019.
| blueluigi | Sep 01, 2018 | |
40588 | NickSplat | I thought they were going to release the Rocko movie this Thanksgiving like they did with The Jungle Movie last Thanksgiving.
| Mr Magic | Aug 31, 2018 | |
40587 | NickSplat | a new preview trailer would be nice, they at least had a few for hey arnold's jungle movie. | Benjanime | Aug 31, 2018

40585 | NickSplat | I kind of go both ways when it comes to TV shows and movies. I do torrent them, but when it's available on a streaming platform like Netflix, I would more likely watch it on there than when it's downloaded on the computer. Of course, more than anything, I'd prefer to own the shows on DVD and Blu-ray. | blueluigi | Aug 31, 2018
40584 | NickSplat | Maybe I'm just weird, but what I do is just torrent and/or download the shows I'm interested in. That way I don't have to worry about watching everything before it gets removed (looking at you, Netflix) or getting incomplete seasons, as seems to be the case with Kablam. The downside is that the video quality isn't always reliable and sometimes it takes forever for the files to reach 100 percent. | jkatz | Aug 31, 2018
40583 | NickSplat |
blueluigi wrote :
NickSplat has done what I never thought they would do... launch a streaming channel. A nice variety of not just Nicktoons, but even live-action shows such as Clarissa Explains it All, Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and others.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see KaBlam listed on there. Though, that seems to be only a limited number of episodes from Season 1. That's probably due to copyright issues, especially since some of the unlisted episodes featured Angela Anaconda.
And since VRV is a streaming service designed for fans of anime and video games, what better addition for that than Nick Arcade.

Of course, as somebody who has followed NickSplat/The Splat/The 90s are All That throughout the past 7 years of the TV block's existence, I'm not entirely drinking the NickSplat VRV Kool-aid just yet, as there are still a few downsides to this streaming service. The main thing is that all of the shows posted only has about the first season or so listed. My guess is that they might do sort of what Boomerang does with their streaming service, where they would add more shows and episodes gradually every week. We'll have to wait and see with this. Also, a lot of the shows, such as Nick Arcade and Salute Your Shorts, mostly has episodes released on iTunes, and others are out on DVD. So the incentive of subscribing to this is not quite there yet. Then again, it is $5.99 a month (or $9.99 for all of VRV), so that would be up to you to decide if it's worth it. One thing's for sure, at least it's more affordable then paying for whichever cable subscription carried Teennick.
-end quote

The price is worth it if you are into anime, games, and all things nerd.
| ThatDudeintheHoodie | Aug 31, 2018 |
