42449The Café<div>ah, the good ol' days when other game companies tried to cash in on the pok'emon concept.<br></div><div><br></div><div><img src="/images/postImages/1553872553robopon.jpg" width="340" height="340"></div>BenjanimeMar 29, 2019View

42447Last Movie You Watched<blockquote rel="vkimo"><b>vkimo wrote :</b><br><i> I agree Vapor, Bumblebee was great. The secret was that it wasn't so serious as the other films. We had a few minor villains, minimal collateral damage to cities and a sort of engaging storyline with the kids. For me, it proves just how much of an influence Guardians of the Galaxy had on the super hero genre as of late - with all the retro ambiance, humor and levity. Same goes for Spiderman Homecoming, it was light hearted and the fate of the world wasn't at stake.<br> </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote>Agreed. It goes to show that it's not necessary for there to be over-the-top consequences for the on screen action. Keep it light and make sure there are some scenes that tug the heart as well as tickle the funny bone.Vaporman87Mar 29, 2019View
42446The Café<div>@Mr. Magic</div><div><br></div><div>i did hear about that, i wonder if there's gonna be like an anniversary panel at a con sometime?</div><div><br></div><div>today just feels like it came and went. my stepdad and i had to take my mom to get some laser eye surgery done for one eye, and we were going around in circles finding out that the pharmacy that was supposed to give her an eyedrop prescription said they never were informed about it, then we drove all the way back to the doctor's office to end up getting a couple of samples of the drops instead. the time it took to wait in the waiting room for both the surgery and for the surgery to get done was about two hours, then the hassle of driving to the pharmacy and back was about an hour because it felt like it took forever talking to the pharmecist about where the prescription was. but before getting an answer we decided to pig out at a hardee's restaurant. so from 8 a.m. to about 2 our day was almost spent. my stepdad and i were planning to install a new door for the garage but he got so drained from sitting around both in the waiting room and in the car from driving around that he just took a good 3 hour nap while i had to watch over my mom to make sure she was taking her eyedrops every few hours and not scratching her eye.</div>BenjanimeMar 29, 2019View
42445Asperger's <div>agreed echidna, the site has been a complete blessing compared to the experience of being on retrojunk and getting into conflict with some of the more trollish members there, and taking notice of the infamous "war room" user forum where certain members got called out, but retrojunk has been a shadow of its former self since 2010 and i have no reason to go back now.</div><div><br></div><div>the positive about it i can give though is staying in touch with whatever popular rj members i could get hold of, i know a handful are already here, but i also added some on social media and on steam. i'm glad to know that i'm not a rarity in being on the spectrum on here though, it's always intriguing to hear how it's affected others and not just me giving my own perspective here.</div>BenjanimeMar 29, 2019View
