44417Peppermint Park (Sesame Street Knock-off from the 1980's)
this was just ripe to use as a youtube poop source. also if you'd like to embed a youtube video, go to the share option in the video, then click the embed option and copy it, then when you're on the retrodaze forum text box click the source button on the top left corner and paste the embed code, then press the source button again. you'll see a weird box appear but just ignore that, then post.
BenjanimeNov 28, 2019View

44415Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Anybody remember that one year they had a Barney the Purple Dinosaur balloon? This was like in 96 or 97. So right on the TV as it's Barney's turn to appear in front of the camera, the balloon malfunctioned. If you hated Barney back then (and I don't blame you, that thing was creepy. Not to mention very insulting to 3 year old autistic kids (speaking from experience) and he was pretty much the king of toxic positivity. He was pretty much the kid's show equivalent of diabetes. Eh, to any diabetics of the website, I mean no disrespect and will edit this comment if I get any backlash) like I did, I will not be surprised if you saw that and rejoiced
RetroSnob88Nov 28, 2019View
44414Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
If the wind gets really bad tomorrow, they'll have to cancel the balloons.

The Barney float sure took a beating from the wind in 1997. He never stood a chance.

<!-- You're using demo endpoint of Iframely API commercially. 44413M&M's
How could you order M&M's without the letter M? What would you say? What would you do? What would you call them?

~Ernie from Peppermint Park (it was a Sesame Street knock-off from back in the late 1980's. The show was described as straight to video and straight from Hell)
RetroSnob88Nov 28, 2019View

44411Mr. Sandman: Male or Female Version?
So here's that cover I was telling you about. This was done by Blind Guardian (Blind Guardian are a German Speed turned Power Metal band from back in the 1980's that in 1992 gained five seconds of prominence on MTV when they performed their prolific ballad The Bard's Song on a show called Headbanger's Ball. Shortly after, they would banish mostly into obscurity. Fast forward several years later to the 2010's when internet technology has long since gotten better. This was the time when Blind Guardian gained another chance at prominence when they garnered a cult following. As of this decade, they are now one of the most prominent Internet Metal bands next to Tyr, Nightwish, Sabaton, Rhapsody of Fire, and to a much lesser extent, Ghost (ugh! Lol) Anyway, hope you enjoy this cover as well as this epic video to accompany it)

https://youtu.be/TQqtEmyLcyA

RetroSnob88Nov 28, 2019View
