46238Halloween Kills (2021)
I'm totally okay with this. :P

I know a lot of my horror friends absolutely hated Halloween (2018), but I enjoyed it. I'm all in for the "last" two.
oniparSep 21, 2020View
46237My New Horror Novel
Hey, thanks, Rick! I wish I could still consider myself a young author, but at 40, I'm not feeling that way anymore

:-p I have another horror collection published called Greetings From Moon Hill which has lots of Halloween spirit running through its pages. I'm currently shopping around my newest novel for an agent to see if I can move out of the indie world a little bit.

What kind of stuff do you write? When I hear "series" I always think sci fi or fantasy for some reason.
oniparSep 21, 2020View

46233Billion Dollar Stadium
SoFi Stadium is just one part of a reginal remodel project to prepare the Greater Los Angeles area to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, followed quickly by LA28, host to the 2028 Olympic Games.

In short order, Inglewood will never be the same!

eddstarrSep 21, 2020View
46232The Café
I think One Piece wasn't part of the original launch line-up. It didn't arrive on the Fox Box until 2004. For as much crap as 4Kids gets for their dub of it, I am a little sympathetic towards them. They apparently didn't know a lot about the show when they acquired the rights to air it, and it wasn't until they started working on the dub that they realized that the show really couldn't be broadcasted for kids.

They did learn from this ordeal. In the years that followed they put forth stricter company standards when it comes to evaluating series to acquire and dub.

Benjanime wrote :
@Rick

i'm kinda glad they left out anything related to one piece on there, they messed up that english dub BAD, along with their own censorship editing, which wasn't any better. one thing that eddstar mentioned a few years back was when the block would have this new incredible crash dummies cartoon airing inbetween commercial breaks. really took me back to one of the sets i had as a kid.

-end quote

Rick Ace RhodesSep 21, 2020View

46229My New Horror Novel
Congrataulations onipar! It's always nice to see a young author break into publishing. I'll make sure to pick up a copy. I'm currently working on my own novel, which I hope to turn into an entire series.
Rick Ace RhodesSep 21, 2020View
