Unfortunately, it's not very likely we'll ever get the SNES version of Yoshi's Island on Virtual Console due to it using the Super FX chip... so the GBA version is the next best thing we'll get. This was around the time Nintendo has gone full on George Lucas by re-releasing their older games onto newer consoles, and have extra features that would make people who already own the originals want to get the newer version. That, to me, was a disgustingly cheap money grub. And they still continue to do it to this very day, with Wind Waker HD being the most recent example.<br><br>Although, I will say the GBA versions of the Mario Bros arcade game was the best version I've seen of the classic titles, but that's about it. And despite my objections on Nintendo going the George Lucas route with some of their games, playing this version is still better than playing Yoshi's Island DS and Yoshi's New Island. Yup, the ex-Sega developers at Artoon/Arzest did a terrible job at trying to make a Yoshi's Island sequel.<br> | blueluigi | Apr 25, 2014 |  |
