8473What was your first car?I love the old land yachts. Unlike the cobalt my GF had in which going anything over 50 and you were at the mercy of the wind.
vkimoMay 27, 2014View

8471Theme & Amusement ParksHere is a picture I took of The Banshee. This was an AWESOME coaster. Just truly awesome. You never feel like you are just cruising along. You are in constant motion (aside from moving forward of course). An amazing ride.

Another cool fact about this ride: It was built on the same ground as the Son of Beast. So to commemorate the Son of Beast's time there, there is a giant monument with the Son of Beast's logo and the dates "2000-2009" inscribed on it located along the waiting line. Cool.
Vaporman87May 27, 2014View
8470Vacation Time!!!Now for an image dump from this year's vacation. :)

This was taken from the People Mover as it takes you from the Carousel of Progress to Monsters Laugh Floor. If you stuff the head in tightly sideways, you can get a lot more for your money. Thanks to the friendly cashier for that tip.

This is one of the cave exits on Tom Sawyer Island, my favorite place in the Magic Kingdom. Mainly because you can freely walk among the forested area with very few people around you. Unlike the madness and chaos of the rest of the park. It's like an oasis within a mad house. Within this exit, we hid a dollar bill on our previous visit last year.

And indeed, it was still there. I marked on it the year we hid it, and this year... in which we found it. Then I hid it cozily back in it's spot to be found by us again next year. :)

Vaporman87May 27, 2014View
8469How was your day?@steak: Woah! I want a Superdawg in my town! That looks so cool.

Yesterday was spent mowing and generally working around the house, except for in the afternoon when we hit up the Wild Horse Cafe for food. They were serving swordfish!!!

With all the conservation efforts that had been going on regarding swordfish, I haven't had the opportunity to eat any in many, many years. You couldn't find it anywhere, in any restaurant... or at least I couldn't. Until lately, that is. My wife found some swordfish in a local Kroger, which we have yet to cook up. But there it was on the specials menu at Wild Horse... grilled swordfish. And I have to say, it was delicious. Nothing like eating your favorite seafood as you watch the boats on the river go by under the comfort of shade with your family.

Vaporman87May 27, 2014View
